The Alliance for Women in Media will again host The Women's Room @ NAB, a power breakfast to connect, empower and educate females in the media industry before the NAB Show kicks off. This event will be a shift from the rest of your NAB Show schedule, featuring a light, healthy breakfast, a panel discussion on navigating technology in daily operations and time for networking.

In 1951, a group of progressive women launched what is today the Alliance for Women in Media, formerly American Women in Radio and Television. The Alliance for Women in Media harnesses the promise, passion and power of women in all forms of media to empower career development, engage in thought leadership and drive positive change for our industry and societal progress. In 1960, the Alliance for Women in Media became the first professional broadcasting organization to establish an educational foundation. The AWM Foundation supports educational programs, charitable activities and scholarships. The Foundation annually honors the best and brightest women in news and entertainment at The Gracie Awards.
